Boris Yeltsin, Orphan Annie and the Port Authority

Hitotoki NYC launches with tales of celebrity sunburns and Vietnamese sandwiches.

As of midnight last night, Hitotoki New York is up and running, with eight excellent stories crossing three boroughs, and bringing together an unlikely cast of characters, well, unlikely in any place other than New York.

In between pulling together content and wrestling with code, we also found time to do a illustrations for a handful of stories, including the one you see above.

Thanks to all the writers for throwing their vote of confidence behind this idea and Matt Rand for climbing aboard to make their stories sparkle.

Hitotoki is a collaboration between AQ and fearless publishers Chin Music Press.
