Hitotoki NYC

Hitotoki is taking on the Big Apple this September. Send us your stories!

Hitotoki, our person/place/moment literary experiment with Chin Music Press is taking on New York.

Why New York? In the end Hitotoki is about cities etching themselves into individuals. Tokyo makes quite a unique type of marking, which is why we started Hitotoki in the first place. New York seems to make a different type, but the marks are just as deep. New York is also a tough nut to crack for newcomers, and this toughness inspires a devotion not unlike that of foreigners who come to Tokyo.

Hitotoki NYC will be edited by New Yorker Matt Rand, who wants your story for the September launch!
