Flanders Center Website RedesignVIEW LIVE SITE
Starting in Fall of 2007, the Flanders Center in Osaka embarked on the most ambitious revitalization in its thirty-six year history. In just half a year, the center completely redesigned its interior, added a contemporary art gallery, and redesigned its website, in an effort to attract interest from younger, more savvy audience.
Our design incorporates Edo-period patterns in a modern layout, hinting at the long history of cultural exchange among Japan and Dutch-speaking Europeans.
Highlights:
- Bilingual Dutch/Japanese PC and mobile site with automatic language detection
- A full-featured Event and Artist database, updated by the center's staff through an easy-to-use interface
- RSS and Email-a-friend functionality to help Flemish-culture enthusiasts stay abreast of the center's activities
